Editing Document Titles

To change the document title, open the document and click the name at the top of the Editor. It becomes editable text. Click away when finished — changes save automatically.

Basic Text Editing

Type normally to add text. Use the toolbar at the bottom of the Editor page to format your text, as you would in any word processor.

Accessing AI from the editor

Above the toolbar at the bottom of the Editor, you’ll find buttons for four AI functions. Simply hit the button here and the request and response will populate in the AI chat:
  • Proofread: Jeannie, the AI assistant, reviews your writing and checks it for spelling and grammatical errors using context
  • Fact Check: Jeannie reviews all claims in your writing and verifies them with cited sources
  • Deep Research: Tap the Research pill, enter your query and have Jeannie leverage OpenAI’s Deep Research tool to create a detailed report for you
  • Web Search: Tap the Search pill and watch as Jeannie searches the web for specific details or stats
When accessing AI from the Editor, you will be brought to the AI chat panel where you can see Jeannie in action. You can return to your writing at any point. You won’t lose progress..
