What Makes It Universal

The AI Assistant can make virtually any edit to your document:
  • Rewrite - Change tone, style, or voice
  • Restructure - Reorganize paragraphs and sections
  • Expand - Add detail, examples, or explanations
  • Condense - Shorten while preserving meaning
  • Transform - Convert between formats (bullets to prose, etc.)
  • Improve - Fix issues while maintaining your intent

Starting a Conversation

To start a conversation with the AI assistant, either:
  1. Open the AI panel by clicking AI in the toolbar
  2. Type your request in the chat input
The AI will respond and can make changes directly to your document

Or
Toggle the AI panel open by clicking the two arrows on the right, and type your request directly into the chat panel

Be Clear About Intent

Limitations

Undoing Changes

If an edit isn’t what you wanted:
  • Use Undo (Cmd/Ctrl + Z) to revert
  • Ask the AI to try again with different guidance
  • Request specific adjustments to the edit
